The story

A day without a schedule
They asked for one thing: not to be told where to stand. So we didn’t. The ceremony happened in a gravel courtyard, the speeches happened wherever someone felt like standing up, and dinner ran three hours late without anyone noticing.
We followed the light more than the timeline — the long avenue of cypresses at four, the terrace at seven, the last candles somewhere close to midnight.
What we remember
A grandmother dancing barefoot. A groom who couldn’t stop laughing during the vows. The quiet ten minutes they took alone at the end of the drive, before walking back up to everyone.
