The story

Scale and silence
They chose a place where the people would always look small — and wanted the photographs to admit it. Wide frames, long lenses, and a lot of patience on the rocks.
The ceremony lasted eleven minutes. The walk down to the water took an hour, and that hour became the heart of the story.
After
A small boat, a bottle of something cold, and the coastline turning pink behind them. We stayed on the shore and let them drift out of the frame.
